I think most of us would agree that we are not happy with the state of the world. The world is full of greed, division, conflict and hatred. On a personal level, many of us are struggling with our mental health, physical health, and a lack of meaningful connections. These concerns can be overwhelming and many of us feel a sense of helplessness. However, we aren’t helpless. We have the ability to change the world if we change the way we relate with each other. If we place focus on having positive interactions with those we engage with, it will spread and have a positive impact on society.
I am confident that we can make the world a better place. I know this through my own personal experiences. I am a fortunate person. I have been able to maintain a general sense of happiness throughout most of my life. I tend to smile a lot, my interactions are full of laughter, and I relate with others without judgment. This has led to me having positive relationships with those I come in contact with, no matter the nature of the relationship. It makes me feel good when I have these positive interactions. It also makes me feel good when others engage with me in a positive, non-judgmental way. When we feel good about our interactions, we are more likely to have positive interactions with others. This is how we build momentum and impact our communities. We are all in this together. Let’s accept each other for who we are, interact without judgment, and be mindful of our relationships. When we do so, we will see real change in our personal lives, which will ripple to impact the world as a whole.
